This might come as unusual from me, but I'm very desperate right now. All my months of savings are gone within an hour of me being an idiot. I was selling an accoung (Genshin Impact's main account) through Facebook, and the buyer (scammer) connected with me through Messenger. I was selling that as the scammer agreed to get the deal, which worth 4,000,000 VND ($152). I was at work at the time and didn't pay as much attention, or give it a second or triple thought, when I sent my account information to them. Not only that, they (the account buyer and the middleman) told me they needed insurance fees in case I took back my account through customer serivce, considering the worth of the item. Without thinking further, after they asked me to transfer them 2,000,000 VND ($76) for half the account's worth just to be sure I wouldn't defraud them, I sent them that amount. Then they told me the account was from Vietnam, and they worried I might return to my account and defraud them for the customer service will help me regain the account information. I have anxiety. I didn't know I've got manipulated, I ended up giving them the rest of the 2,000,000 VND (also $76), making it $152 as they said the insurance fees is 100% of the account's worth. Then, the middleman wanted both the buyer and seller to send 50% of the cost, forcing me to transfer another 4,000,000 VND ($152), but I didn't have enough and only transferred them 3,499,000 VND (133$) thinking they will return to me eventually. In total, I've lost both the money and the item I was going to sell. That makes it a total loss of 7,500,000 VND ($285 from the money I was scammed out of) and the item I was planning to sell, worth 4,000,000 VND ($152). All of that happened within an hour; I was working and didn't really think it through. I needed to sell my item to afford my bills; now all my savings, my company's project funds, and my electric and water bill money are all gone. I'm desperate. I'm in panic and didn't know what to do. I have always be cautious over scam, but never have I expected my own life desparate turned into more desparation. I'm in lost. I never thought I would need to ask for a fundraiser, but I am literally desperate and not sure what to do from now on! I really need help, any help possible! That's all the money I've gotten to help with my life, and now they're all gone. Please, thank you...
