During the UKO tournament, several issues occurred, which led us to withdraw from the competition as a team.

The team around Aspyre / Scourge broke multiple rules.

Throughout the tournament, we had to wait 45 minutes and then another 20 minutes for Team Aspyre / Scourge. First, a player had a “family dinner” during their game against Yurei. Later, another delay occurred because someone on their team “had to eat.” This lack of sportsmanship and disrespect towards their opponents was something we, as a team, were no longer willing to tolerate.

We opened a support ticket and requested immediate assistance. As a result, we were awarded our first win because Team Aspyre / Scourge failed to show up until 23:10. A moderator then stated that they had until 23:16 to join the match, or else the game (and score) would be given to us. At 23:17, only one player from their team was present. Based on this continued unsportsmanlike behavior, we made the decision not to play against Scourge any further.

Said and done — despite providing several screenshots (which we will publish soon), both teams were later disqualified because we refused to continue after more than an hour of delay.

During a follow-up discussion involving the tournament organizers and present team captains, Team Scourge / Aspyre began insulting our team.

We had always been prepared to hand the win to Team Scourge / Aspyre, as we no longer saw any point in competing in the UKO given the circumstances and the screenshots. But what we cannot understand is how a team captain could stoop to such a level and start insulting others — and even more so, how a sponsor can support such behavior.

We came to this tournament to play fair games and compete with other teams. Team Aspyre / Scourge clearly had no interest in a fair or respectful competition at any point.

With this statement, we officially withdraw from all future UKO tournaments.
