Tribute to Peter Cullen

Honestly, i do not know how to start this.

Peter Cullen's death impacted me in a way i couldn't imagine, it is the first time someone i used to look for when i needed comfort died.

It is the first time i've genuinely cried for a "celebrity". But, he is far more than just a "celebrity", he is a legend.

When i was a kid, in troubled time, i often found myself watching Transformers in VO and in VF, both of these voices resonated with me, not because of their impressive range or deep voices, but because of the burden i felt hearing them.

Hearing them, i felt years of fight, years of trying, years of growing wise and understanding one another. These are the type of voices far from any Hollywood cliché heroes, these are actual voice weighted by years of endless fights trying to fight the most noblest of fights.

Peter Cullens' voice was something else, much deeper, much profound, much wise and his brother Larrys' words struck with me as mush as they did for Peter, "Be strong enough to be gentle" are words which weights would be unbearable for most, but in his way, Peter found a way to make them accessible and i thought to myself, "that's it, that's the kind of person i want to become"

You don't need to be the strongest human being and yet, be weak when face with kindness, to actually be strong enough to allow yourself to be gentle with anyone is way more profound than simply being capable of lifting heavy weights . These words gave me courage, they gave strength, they gave me hope, hope for a better tomorrow, hope for a better me and i've been fighting ever since trying to become a better person, a little bit each day. Some might call all of this childish, others immature but, do not be fooled, these are actually the ones who needs the most a hero to resonate with them.

Peter, i promise you, we will keep fighting the good fights, we will grieve promptly and when in need, we'll look upon the stars for your soul to comfort us, we will keep dreaming because dreams are the future and most and for all, we thank you. Thank you for your kindness, thank you for the courage, the strength and hope you gave us, thank you for those who were saved by your performance, for those who fights silent battle and finds strength in a heroes' words, in your words, thank you.
